Aircraft Salvage
Damaged aircraft are often "totaled" and offered for bid by insurance companies.
Often, these aircraft are rebuildable and can fly again.  Sometimes the owner has failed to carry enough insurance and, based upon the insurred value, and the aircraft is judged to be uneconomical to repair based upon this value.  These aircraft are often purchased and returned to airworthy status for much less than the price of a similar undamaged aircraft.  Aircraft that are too badly damaged to repair can also serve as a valuable source of parts for rebuilding other aircraft.
Check here often for the current listings of salvaged aircraft being offered for sale by the insurance companies.  Royal Aircraft Services has rebuilt and restored many such aircraft, and we will be happy to provide a quote on what it will cost you to have us restore one of these damaged aircraft for you.
