In addition to the power plant and airframe
facility, JRA constructed a new paint and interior hangar in
1996. The stripping processes are conducted in the front section
of this facility and the painting applications, separated by
double width, floor-to-ceiling firewalls, are conducted in a
climate controlled and sealed environment. Powerful industrial
filters remove all dust and particulate matter from the recirculated
air.
A water recycling and recovery system was included
in the design of the building to meet EPA and DNA guidelines.
In addition to the exterior painting, all interior refurbishments
are done on the premises.
